Game Changers

The 1966 Michigan State University football team won a national championship, but its most important legacy was its role in the integration of college football. This award-winning video, narrated by Pro Football Hall of Famer Tony Dungy, effectively uses archival footage to tell the story behind the “Game of the Century,” reflecting MSU’s historic commitment to inclusion. Receiving record-breaking engagement on social media, the video became MSU’s best-performing feature story of all time on Twitter and was the most popular MSUToday feature in 2018.
